Bravo WoVO

Here we celebrate the achievements of our amazing members, because we know our members are the magic ingredient that makes WoVO work.
Building Real Community
Cameron Pfister
Cameron Pfister, who will be continuing her role as Program Director. Cameron discovered the world of voiceover thanks to her uncle, who took up voice acting and needed her IT skills. Eventually he convinced her to try her hand at it and she never looked back. A veteran of IVR, Corporate Narration, Explainers, and Audio Dramas, she has been taught by some of the best in the business. She’s trained in improv, commercial, and video game VO and continues to study medical, animation, and dubbing. Soon after starting in VO, Cam founded a small acting group of peers to give them a support system as well as a place to help sharpen each other’s skills. It wasn’t long before she was introduced to WoVO through the WoVO Unconference and she knew she’d found her VO home and had to be a part of it, helping to lift other actors up the way she had been. Cam’s journey into VO meant pivoting away from a fulltime career in IT and Project Management but she brings those skills with her to help fellow actors any way she can.
Scott Dickson
Scott Dickson, who will assume the new role of Marketing Director to join the Executive Board. Scott is an award-winning voiceover actor having been recognized in 2024 with the prestigious Webby Award Honorable Mention and 2024 Gold Telly Award for his contribution to Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution’s (WHOI) “Hurricanes Explained” video in the Science and Education category.
Scott has been a Voiceover Actor for 10 years, but often from the other side of the glass. Prior to becoming a voice actor, Scott’s career was in brand marketing, specifically tourism, leading major advertising campaigns for the likes of SeaWorld Orlando, Aquatica Orlando, Discovery Cove Orlando, Madame Tussaud’s wax attraction and Sea Life Aquarium. Here, he was able to cast voiceover and on-camera talent. In addition, he managed sponsorship events and local corporate relations in field marketing for Southwest Airlines. Scott is passionate about the voiceover industry, basketball (as a former player and coach) and anything that has to do with travel and tourism.
Robin Rowan
It’s a small world after all. Robin Rowan had an experience with a website in the Netherlands that is like Source Connect, with video capability. She had a job for a high-end spa in Switzerland through the site in the Netherlands. The production house was in France, and the client was in Switzerland. She’s in Florida. During the session she sees the client has her ear buds in and seems to be moving. Robin realized she was on a train, and asked: “Could you please turn your laptop just a bit to the right so I can see out your window?” The client was happy to comply, and there they were–the Swiss Alps! “I couldn’t believe what I was seeing! What an experience! And how amazing is the technology to be able to have that happen?”
Liz de Nesnera
For the third year, Liz de Nesnera could be heard as the Voice of God for the 2026 Real Screen Awards ceremony which took place in Miami, Florida this year. The Reel Screen Awards celebrate excellence in unscripted and non-fiction entertainment and is judged by a panel of 100+ international unscripted and nonfiction executives. While in Miami, Liz was booked by her agent for a commercial and she got to work with the pros at Plus Music Studio for a directed session.
Deb DeVries
Deb DeVries has been asked to be a judge for the 2026 AIVA Communicator Awards. Judges for The Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts (AIVA) are an invitation-only group of top-tier professionals from firms like Google, Disney and MTV Networks. The competition covers work including websites, online marketing, film/video, social media campaigns, print design, and podcasts.
Deb is a two-time AIVA Award winner for “Sincerely, Miriam,” a project about cancer recovery, and the San Bernardino County Trust campaign, where she got to help communities understand a critical infrastructure project. Deb says, “Ultimately, the awards didn’t validate the work. The work was already meaningful.”
Becky Lee
Becky Lee, One Voice Nominated, professional female voice actor based in Hong Kong, was spotlighted in the recent Toyota regional brand campaign. She voiced the Toyota Diversification TVC, which was just launched in Asia.
Becky jokes, “Now go out and buy a new Toyota!” And she gives a special shout out to executive producer Mikyung Kim and the Crisp Group.
Christi Bowen
Christi Bowen has been named a 2026 Reed Award Finalist in the Best Voiceover Talent in an Informational Ad – Online Video category for a spot against the Texas Redistricting efforts by the Governor. Christi says what she loves most is being recognized for work that she really believes in and is passionate about.
She gives a shout out to Pat Jakopchek and LPS Campaigns “For trusting with this project. It’s an honor to be nominated.”
Carin Gilfry
As the vice-president of the National Association of Voice Actors, WoVO member Carin Gilfry is a strong advocate for the rights of human voice actors. She could be heard on a recent NCIS episode as the voice of the Chatbot, Dawn AI. Carin says, “I love that I got to play an AI Chatbot, and that instead of using AI, they hired a real person.”
