This editor owes an apology to Industry Partner, B Double E for missing their recent UK One Voice Award win for Best Service Provider. B Double E is the team of Rob Bee is an audio engineer, producer and studio whizz. Helen Bee is a branding and website designer and strategist. Together, they do audio production, training, branding, editing, and more. They are no strangers to the winners’ circle. Says Helen Bee, “It’s our 4th win for that category too – something we’re very, very proud of.” They also won a 2026 SOVAS for Outstanding Website.
Helen will be sharing her award winning insights when she hosts an upcoming WoVO Circle on Branding. So save the date- July 14th!
May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, and Voices To Know highlighted AAPI narrators throughout the month. Congratulations to Roshini Kumar who was selected by #VoicesToKnow as an Audiobook Narrator to Know! Nicely done, Rosh!
Hats off to Lisa Negrón for the release of her 107th audiobook recently. The Unbent Curve by Wade Walker (book 2 in his Time Travel/Sci-Fi series). Narrating over 100 audiobooks is not an easy feat. If you’re a Spotify listener, keep your ears open for an Eggland’s Best commercial on Spotify’s commercial breaks – that would be Lisa! Mmmm, eggs. And rounding out a hat trick of accomplishments, Lisa was also a wonderful guest on the WoVO Show podcast, sharing her insights on all things Audiobook! Give it a listen HERE.
