WoVO collects and uses the following information to maintain its membership records:
● Information you provide during initial application, registration, and subsequent profileupdating pertaining to your membership with WoVO.
● Information you provide during initial application, registration, and subsequent profileupdating pertaining to the WoVO talent database called voiceover.biz.
● Information you provide for the purpose of maintaining and renewing your WoVOmember services (including the newsletter and other direct member communications).
Using Personal Information
WoVO may use your personal information to:
● Administer the official website, world-voices.org
● Administer the professional member directory, voiceover.biz
● Send regular newsletter emails
● Send announcement emails
● Send voting and survey forms to poll members’ opinions
● Contact you regarding your membership
● Send you statements and invoices
Where WoVO discloses your personal information to its agents or sub-contractors for thesepurposes, the agent or sub-contractor in question will be obligated to use that personalinformation in accordance with the terms of this privacy statement (see note 1 below).
The WoVO Executive Board makes every effort to protect the members of our organizationfrom being targeted by unsolicited advertising, promotions, and other sales approaches.
WoVO will not sell, share, or trade members’ email addresses to third parties.
Securing Your Data
WoVO will take reasonable technical and organizational precautions to prevent the loss,misuse or alteration of your personal information which is held encrypted on our contractor’ssecure servers.
Withdrawal of Consent and the Right to be Forgotten
Upon termination of membership, all information relating to the member will be removedfrom the database. Any member may request the removal of their information from theWoVO or voiceover.biz database at any time.
WoVO Privacy Policy Updates
The WoVO Privacy Policy may be subject to periodic updates. Members will be informedvia the newsletter that a new version is available on the website.
Third-Party Websites
The world-voices.org and voiceover.biz websites may contain links to other websites. WoVOis not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of any third party.
